Nicole was an undergraduate student at the University of Kansas, majoring in Social Work and Political Science with a minor in Communication Studies.Through the course of her studies, she volunteered with the Willow Domestic Violence Center as both a shelter and court advocate, administering shelter in-takes, exits, and crisis calls, as well as providing assistance in filing protection orders. She is conducted her practicum at Kansas Legal Services in Topeka, where she assisted in helping individuals obtain gainful employment and stable housing. Ms. Gilmore will be graduated in May of 2015 and aims to attend graduate school after her completion.
