Emily Rauscher is an assistant professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Kansas (KU) and Faculty Director of the Wealth Transfer Project at the Center on Assets, Education, and Inclusion. Her research centers around intergenerational mobility, seeking to understand how advantage and disadvantage are transmitted from parents to children and what policy mechanisms could weaken that process.
